Photoshop Comic Effects
Sure, it's a little more work than Comic Life, but I've been working on my own comic book-style design effects in Photoshop. All thanks to Russell Brown from Adobe who puts out an excellent video podcast with Photoshop tutorials. I've just discovered his show and will be working on more Photoshop projects as I proceed to download more episodes.

Wow, great job! I think this is really cool. You should continue this effort on making comic book effects. That picture is awesome.
