Skype Voicemail Comes Out of Beta

SkypeThe Skype Voicemail service, which has been available as a beta since April, made its debut yesterday as an official, pre-paid, premium offering of the Skype Internet Telephony Company. As you may know, Skype Voicemail is essentially an answering machine for your computer, where contacts can leave messages of up to 10 minutes that are stored on a remote Skype server until you log in and receive them. The service will continue to be priced at $7 for 3 months, or $19 for a year.
